Tao Te Ching – Lao Tzu – chapter 81
Truthful words are not beautiful.
Beautiful words are not truthful.
Good men do not argue.
Those who argue are not good.
Those who know are not learned.
The learned do not know.
The sage never tries to store things up.
The more he does for others, the more he has.
The more he gives to others, the greater his abundance.
The Tao of heaven is pointed but does no harm.
The Tao of the sage is work without effort.
Volcanoes erupting, weather machine freezing us, ice killing us. Fear is a weapon. Once upon a time alcohol and other accoutrements were my strategy of compartmentalizing the righteous anger boiling over inside, when I finally decided to stop harming my body to hide in fear from the man, my mind and spirit returned from exile.
Incredible –> nutrient runoff from human destruction in the Amazon rain forest caused an explosion of a material used to create more effective building materials. Mother nature is telling us what we need to hear, humans need to listen.
